We are now open for 50 % capacity seating
Let us start by saying how much we miss you all! Some of you we have seen while picking up takeout at 909. We are so very appreciative of your love and support- we honestly couldn’t have done it without you. And if you haven’t been able to make it in, we hope we have been in your thoughts- you have definitely been in ours! We look forward to seeing each and every one of you when our doors open again.
Fingers crossed, Phase II should go into effect June 1st. We will be able to open up our doors and invite you in once again to share a meal with us. We’ve been scrubbing, painting, planting and generally just giving the old place an overhaul. We want you to return and feel comfortable and happy in 909.
Business will be a bit different. It is looking like we can only offer 50% capacity of our restaurant. We have been working on the deck and courtyard so we can maximize our space and keep tables distant from one another. We will do everything in our power to make your 909 experience delicious, safe and fun. We may all be masked. We may need to keep a log of everyone who dines. We will sanitize every table, chair, door handle, pen, utensil, etc. You will hear the sound of running water a lot (hand washing!) We won’t be able to accommodate large groups for a while, but the moment it can be offered, we will be ready for you.
We have been on this “path of the unknown” for several weeks now- and we have more of that ahead. But together we will tackle this, one step at a time. We will keep you posted as news comes to us and changes are made. Let us continue to support each other on this journey.
909 Coffee & Wine opened its doors in May 2007, the 3rd restaurant operated by the Ricci Family. The Riccis brings over 50 years of restaurant experience to our latest venture. As Angelo’s Restaurants have become Burien and Bellevue institutions where generations of families come together, so is our hope for 909.
909 is a warm and cozy neighborhood gathering place. If you don’t know anyone when you walk in, you’ll certainly have made a new acquaintance by the time you leave. We do not offer Wi-Fi because we want 909 to be a place where our guests come together to share, not only food and drink, but great conversation.
The 909 family is passionate about what we do and offer. That passion is why we take pride in serving locally roasted Caffé Umbria coffee, bread from Macrina bakery and gelato from Gelatiamo. We make all of our pastries and desserts in house. Our soups and salad dressings are all made from scratch. And we change our menu seasonally to take advantage of the freshest ingredients available.
We want our guests to be able to try a variety of dishes when they come in, so we offer numerous small plates as well as larger entrees. Our wine selection changes frequently, and we always have 20-30 glass pours, with several tasting flights available. We offer 11 beers on tap, with a focus on local and micro-brewed beer.
We believe that our guests deserve the best food and service we can provide. We want 909 to be more than just a place to satisfy your hunger – we want 909 to be a place to satisfy your soul.
